Shattered Trust
Logan Taul is a police officer who realizes he has become abusive in his treatment of individuals he contacts and arrests. After confessing to his captain and implicating others in his circle of buddies, he begins his journey to become the type of officer Logan truly desires to be and reunite with the family he deserted. His journey is aided by fellow officer Rich Ryker and his partner as well as the head of the police records section, Margaret Martin.
Some the buddies who Logan implicated have even more to hide than he knows. To protect themselves they cast blame for their actions on him while attempting to force him to recant his statements by attacking him, his friends, and his family.

The wives of the shepherds around Bethlehem decide to help the mother of the baby their husbands saw after they saw the angels in the sky. Even though they aren't sure this baby truly is the Messiah, they know the young family needs friends and food and clothing for their new son.
The shepherd children want to take gifts as well but have no money to buy anything. Therefore, they search their homes to find gifts a with special meaning.
When mothers and children take the gifts to the new mother and baby, the women visit while boys and girls tell the baby stories and show him the presents. All the gifts and stories tie together from their heritage and faith.
The goal of this book is to link stories from the Old Testament to the life of Jesus. If all goes as planned the chapter book, designed for 4th to 6th graders, will be available for Christmas gifts.
Shattered Trust Sequel (working title) - In Process
Logan Taul's daughter, Angela, disappears. Her mother believes she has been kidnapped and is frantic to find her daughter.
Logan's friend Margaret is fired and a bomb explodes in her house. She heads to the mountains to stay with her niece, but trouble follows.
Can Logan find his daughter and protect his friend? What secrets will he have to unravel to save them both? Will the brash young deputy who tells Margaret she is senile survive her wrath? Will Margaret's wisdom help Logan to find the answers once more?
Only time will tell.
This book, in the editing stages, will hopefully come out in the next year to eighteen months. The final title has not been determined, but for those who liked Shattered Trust and cheered Logan on, it will be worth the wait. And for those who asked to learn more about Margaret, you will find more hints to her background, but she still isn't willing to tell her whole story.
