It is Christmas Eve. I have so, so much to be thankful for. At the top of the list is celebrating the birth of my Savior and worshiping Him.
However, I’m also celebrating all the blessings of this day.
- With two surgeries in two weeks, there have been a lot of physical and emotional issues, but today I feel well and strong.
- I received my first copy of my book, Jesus Gets Hand-Me-Downs. I actually have a copy in my hands.
- I don’t need to take drugs because I’m having minimal pain from the surgery.
- During the surgery yesterday, my anesthesiologist asked me to help him write a book about anesthesia for children.
- I went to bed last night discouraged because I wasn’t ready for Christmas. But I woke up with hope, knowing I am ready even without gifts.
I pray that all of you receive many, many blessings this Christmas.
Beautiful post.
Love you so much, Chris, and am so proud of you. You are a gift to me and so many.
Thanks, Marlene
Dear friend, it seems as though many writers (God’s writers) are challenged with physical attacks as this year closes. BUT GOD has His plans in place and no weapon formed against us shall prosper. May these days and hours before the new year begins, strengthen you with His Grace and the JOY of His Peace and Inspiration.
Thanks, Royalene. It has been an interesting time, with what seems like negative medical news. However, I see God’s hand in the sequence of events, even though I struggle with the emotions. I’m glad He is in control.
